[Opinions] Sibset
At my workplace, we've had an employee named Marissa (one of two, actually) for a while, and we just recently hired her brother, Max. I'm sure Max isn't short for anything because everyone has to be listed with their full legal name on our shift-planning and for him it says just Max.
I hate the name Marissa. I love the name Max, but prefer it to be a nickname. Despite that and despite hating Marissa, I can't help thinking that Marissa and Max has a certain charm as a sibset. What do you think?

Max is my son's name. I was adamant about his name being just Max. I knew that was what I was going to call him and I didn't want him to think a NN was his given name.
Marissa is just OK for me. I think its pretty and not all that common.
Anyway, I think Max and Morgan would be a cuter sib set or Max and Mason for two boys.

I don't like Max because it sounds like a dog's name, but it's not terrible. Marissa is okay too; the names go well together as a sibset.
I know a woman with a pair of twins about seven or eight years old. Their full names are Maxwell and Isabella, but they are called Max and Bella. I wince whenever I hear those names, because as a pair they sound exactly like somebody's overbred, overpriced dogs, the kind where the owner sends out Xmas cards and givs presents in the dogs' names and does it in total seriousness.

...and this is why I don't think dogs should have people names!
