[Opinions] Re: Rosalind vs. Jocelyn (and more)
in reply to a message by Joiya
Rosalind vs. Jocelyn - Rosalind. I don't mind Jocelyn but Rosalind seems more classic, more friendly and doesn't sound like jostlingRoberta vs. Josepha - Roberta, because I prefer the sound of itLenore vs. Yvette - Yvette, because Lenor is a fabric conditioner hereGail vs. Gale vs. Gayle - Gail. It's dated, but neat and cheerful. Gayle seems overly complicated, Gale is a stormBONUS: Do you find Edwarda / Eduarda usable? Any other female options to honor an Edward?
Eduarda seems more usable than Edwarda, because its pronunciation is more obvious from the male forms. Edwarda might get pronounced Edward-uh or ed WARD uh. Edda is nicer, imo - or any female Ed-name would work: Edina, Edana, Edwina
