I've only known it pronounced as GIE-ah, and that's how I prefer it. GAH-ya is a little more difficult to get out for me, but not by enough that it matters.I think it's a pretty name with either pronunciation. Although it's an earthy name in meaning, it feels airy and light when I look at it and say it.I've never heard it pronounced as GAY-a, if that helps any!
