A friend is having a daughter. They have been thinking a lot about
Ramona, it's a family name (a grandma or grand aunt or someone who has passed away) and they think it might be cool to use in an honorary way. My friend is of European (
German, French Swiss, etc) descent and her husband is Italian, this is their first child.
1. What would be good as a middle name? They're at a complete loss, as am I! The last name is two syllables and starts with an S.
2. They like
Romy as a nickname, they don't want to use
Mona. How does that sound? Could that be a nickname that is taken seriously on an adult?
3. Are there any bad associations or huge teasing opportunities?
4. In general, what do you think of
Ramona (
Romy) as a name?
