Oh thanks! I am excited too! I am so happy they have statistics now. But technically they should also be able to create a top 100 from as early as 1900. Do you remember the link to the book you sent me? In the preview I saw that it has the data taken twice per decade (e.g. 1941, 1946, 1951, 1956) from 1900 on and they also have a list from 1876 or something. They have the data for Rome, Bologna and Palermo so as they have data from a city in the north, a city in the south and one in between they should be able to create one for Italy using these data sets. It would be so interesting to see!
