God, so many of these names are pretentious. Then again, not surprising coming from the Telegraph.
What's the reasoning behind Bear as a name in the UK? I've noticed that all the babies I've heard of with Bear as a middle or first name seem to be British. I'm suspecting that it has to do with Bear Grylls (which isn't his real name, FTR).
