It immediately makes me think of celeb children, of Courteney Cox's daughter. I always loved Friends and I think her daughter's name is pretty well known. Next I think of monkeys, I think due to the cereal (Cocoa Pops) which had a monkey on the cover. Of course I also think of cocoa. Overall it is just too nickname-ish and insubstantial, in my opinion. I much prefer the similar Cleo which has tons of more history than Coco. Coco is also a bit stripper-ish, sorry :/ If you like it I would recommend it as a nickname.
