I don't think it is plain. I think it is solid and lovely.
It's not flowery or elaborate, which is trendy right now. People probably think the same about Anne or Sarah or Charlotte. Classy is sometimes mis-diagnosed as plain imo.

I agree. Unless your name is like, Juniper, Aquilynn, or Nevaeh, apparently your boring and bland. How is that even possible. There are so many out there names nowadays that normal names sound normal in comparison. If you want to equate normal with plain, fine.
