I agree with 2 to 3 kids. In real life I'd probably go with 2, but I don't really have a presence for this fictional family.
From your list I like:
Boys:
August -I would be hesitant to use it as a first name because it seems feminine.
Patrick
Anthony
Mathias -I like both pronunciations I have heard. How do you pronounce it?
Benjamin
Girls:
Helena -It’s not my favorite though, so I would prefer it in the middle name slot.
Lynn -You have a really cute family tradition there. I’m definitely open to making it the middle name of a first daughter.
Tempest
Catriona -How do you pronounce it?
Amelia -It’s not my favorite though, so I would prefer it in the middle name slot.
Niamh
Kathleen
I don’t like:
Boys:
Estel -It seems feminine to me and is also fairly unknown, at least where I live.
Jason -The name reminds me of too many unsavory acquaintances.
Felix -The name reminds me of too many unsavory acquaintances.
Mikhail -I’m not fond of the pronunciation.
Theo -The name reminds me of too many unsavory acquaintances.
Lucas -I’t’s too popular for me.
Nicholas -I just don’t like the sound.
Girls:
Ruth -I just don’t like the sound.
Rebekah -I don’t like the sound or spelling.
Pearl -It reminds me of an old lady I wasn’t fond of and I don’t like the sound in general.
Josephine -The name reminds me of too many unsavory acquaintances.
Magdalene -It feels too religious for me.
Keely -I don’t like the sound or spelling.
Mia -The name reminds me of too many unsavory acquaintances.
Grace -It feels too religious for me.
Virginie -I don’t like the meaning.
Siobhan -I don’t like the sound.
Kora -I don’t like the sound or spelling.
I’m on the fence about:
Boys:
Diarmad -I have no idea how to pronounce it. I lean towards disliking it because it’s so unfamiliar but I would be open to reconsidering if it’s a favorite of yours.
Eoin -I like the pronunciation but I have a friend named Owen (same pronunciation) and I feel like I would confuse the spellings.
Tristan -I just can’t decide whether I like it or not.
Girls:
Sinéad -I don’t know how to pronounce it. I lean towards disliking it because it’s so unfamiliar but I would be open to reconsidering if it’s a favorite of yours.
Victoria -I just can’t decide whether I like it or not.
I’ve commented on preferring some of them as middle names, but in all honesty the middle names don’t matter to me as much. Basically any of them, even the ones I said I disliked, would be acceptable middle names.
Here are some of my favorites:
Boys:
Thomas “Tam”
Rafael
Everard / Evander
Isaac
Neil / Nathaniel “Neil”
Gareth
Peregrine
Jonah / Jonas
Alfred
Edmund
Leander
Fitzroy / Fitzwilliam
Hugo
Peregrine
Cyrus
Ellis
Girls:
Rosemary
Silvia / Silvie
Maeve
Fiona
Lucy
Cecily / Cecilia
Matilda “Tilda” / “Mattie”
Minerva
Diana
Guinevere “Gwen” -I’m open to other spellings as well.
Thea -It could be a nickname if preferable.
Viola
Sybil
Claire
Bethan
Lyra
Juniper
