I like it a lot because of the painter (Salvador Dalí) and it sounds much better than Salvatore.

Salvador is a city located in the north of Brazil. The city is very famous for its annual Carnival celebration.

I agree it sounds better than Salvatore, but I don't like it much. It's the 'Sal' at the beginning that puts me off.

I love Salvador Dalí so much as well, but I cannot find the name really beautiful. And it is also the name of a country where is very poor and unstable in Central American.
