[Opinions] Re: Mafalda
in reply to a message by Felie
Hello :)Mafalda is kind of cute. I think it would be the perfect name for a very kind and sweet witch. In a Harry Potter way, not a creepy old witch. Isn't there a witch with this name in the Harry Potter series? I think so. But I don't really remember what she did, I think her first name was only mentioned a few times.I never knew Mafalda was also Italian. I mainly know it as a Portuguese name. The more I think about Mafalda the more I like it :) It's cute and not popular. I think I would give it an 8/10. The reason why I wouldn't use it is because it has three syllables but I can't think of any good nicknames for it. Mafa, Mafi, Falda - they don't appeal to me.I actually love Matilda but it is getting kind of trendy and popular in Austria. Here it is most often spelled Mathilda but Matilda is used too. In France Mathilde was really really common. I love Mathilde too. I also like Matilde. But all of these are so popular that Mafalda seems fresher.
