I have a nephew named Jonah. I always liked the name, but I like it even more now.
Yep, Joe or Jo could definitely be nicknames. Not sure why Joe couldn't be a nickname for both Jonah and Joseph.
Also, my little Jonah is sometimes called Jonesy.
