Although I don't exactly see myself ever using this name as far as I'm aware, I still find it to be absolutely beautiful and endearing. A short and simple yet pleasant sounding name (: I like the English pronunciation of IED-ə the most.
I just think of positive aspects whenever I hear or see this name. The name just seems to conjure up images of a beautiful female of any age with a down-to-earth personality. An elderly and caring grandmother. I just love it.

I knew an Ida.

Unattractive artist's model with a drug problem. She also had epilepsy.

It was short for Idaline.

I had a Sunday School teacher named Ida, though we called her Miss Lastname. Certainly she was a nice person. sometimes she brought molasses candy or fudge for us.

No reason why it's not a good name.It could work.

I like Ida a lot. I think Ida or any name ending in -ida has a natural spunk and strength to it.

I favor the EE-da pronunciation. That would be harder to get away with the U.S. I think, but it's still my personal preference.

I like Ida as EE-də. I think it has a pleasant sound, and a good deal of personality to it. I agree it feels quite down-to-earth, and fun too.

I like it, pronounced as you suggested. Ada is beautiful, too. They're short, sweet vintage names, and make interesting alternatives to the lovely, but super popular, Ava.

Really dowdy but I can sort of see the appeal. I prefer Ada, though.
