Love Kathleen. But I prefer Cathleen since Irish doesn't have a K in its alphabet. I'm not saying Kathleen is wrong. It's the English form and therefore even more authentic, as a variant. It's just a personal preference.
Kathleen is fresh sounding to me. Love nns Kathy, Kat and Kate.
