Last night I read a horror story in which on of the characters was called Nalene. I've never seen this name before, but I think I like it. Guess it's a variant of Nolene, which is rather nice, too. Nalene made me think of an old favorite that I (*gasp!*) had forgotten to add to my list. Nalini. It means "lotus" and I think it's so beautiful and serene!
