They are essentially the same name, but like you, I get a strong Hispanic vibe from Arleth, and a strong 1950's vibe from Arlette. They're not terrible but I can't say I actually like them.
Not a fan of etta or ette names; the only ones I truly like, and those nowhere near enough to want to use, are Annette and Antoinette.
