Help[Opinions] Anthea or Althea (more)
I love the meanings of both of them. Which one would you choose? Would they work in real life or are they too out there? Would they get confused with Andrea a lot?

I prefer Anthea's sound. I like both meanings but don't really care for Althea's sound for some reason. I used to have Anthea on my list and my own name is actually Andrea. I never considered that people would confuse it with my own name. I did worry that people might confuse it for Athena, however. It's not a dealbreaker for me though and not the reason I took it off my list. It's a lovely name overall.

They both have their charms, and I prefer Althea’s meaning, but thinking on it my choice would probably be Anthea. She feels a bit feistier to me, and I like the Five Children and It connection, and possible nn Panther (my favourite animal). I just like how Anthea sounds too.

I don't think either of them would be confused with Andrea, but I think Anthea would be confused with Athena.
I like both, and the one I prefer depends on if I'm in the mood for more earthy names or not. The "th" makes them both look earthy, but the "n" is more earthy and the "l" is more... watery, if that makes sense.
Right now I prefer Althea but that will probably change tomorrow.
I'm also liking the old spellings (Antheia & Althaia). Either of those would help if you want to make sure they're not mistaken for another name.

This time is difficult..
Both have 8/10 in my list.
Maybe I would spell Anthea but the other Altea.
I would never confuse them with Andrea as in my mind it is only masculine (actually in Italy it is becoming unisex and in 2016 were born 230 female Andrea).
I dislike this trend...
The traditional Andreina is very dated imo and cutesy because of the -ina that makes it childish.
Actually I found some modern really nice variants of it that I judge better than Andrea or Andreina on a female.
They are Andreea (Romanian ee is read as a simple long e), Andressa (Spanish/Latino, after Andrés), Andreana and Andreia or Andreja (Balcanian J as i/y).
These names are not from a web research.
I met at least one from each "new" form (new for an Italian as they are foreign variants that slowly are becoming usable out of these languages).
