[Opinions] Morgan(a)
Just wanted to know others’ opinions of my name, the good and the bad. Would you prefer Morgana for a girl and Morgan for a boy? Or do you like Morgan for a girl better?
I myself quite like it and think it suits me well (I’m a female bearer), seeing how much of a lover I am of nautical things.“Whatever you are, be a good one.”

I absolutely love Morgana! Morgan for a girl is good too but it's a little popular, less "Morgan le Fay" and more "3 different girls I went to high school with". Morgan for a boy is a little boring.

Morgan has long been one of my favorite names for a boy. I don't like it on a girl at all. I'd like Morgana better on a girl, but then I don't really like Morgana at all.

Morgan is unisex to me. Works fine on both boys and girls. Morgana is prettier for a girl I think. (though my fav is Morgaine for women)

I love Morgana for a girl, and I like Morgan for a boy. I’m more okay with Morgan for a girl than I once was, but I still think Morgana’s dark beauty outweighs Morgan.

I think Morgan is alright on either gender.
I like Morgana too, but I'm never sure whether to say Mor-GAN-a or Mor-GAH-na.
We named a catfish Morgana (long A sound). That seems a little bit prissy to me compared to Mor-GAN-a.
I think I'd give a girl Morgan rather than Morgana.
I'd rather give a girl Morgan than a boy but not by much of a margin.

I prefer Morgane for a girl and like Morana, even though that is a different name. It is okay for a boy as well. I don't really like Morgana.

I prefer Morgan for either gender. Morgana just feels awkward to me, though in the case of a middle name I would use Morgana for flow based reasons. Morg is a fairly hard sound and I like how Morgan owns that on a girl, and I think its one of the most handsome names ever on a boy.

While I appreciate Morgan's long unisex history, to me it's more masculine. However, I've loved Morgana as a feminine name for many years. I even met a real-life Morgana once, and it didn't seem out of place in the real world at all.

I like it very much. Another possible meaning is 'sea song' (môr + cân)
I think of it as a boy's name because it usually is where I'm from, but I don't mind it on a girl.
Morgana is nice too.

I'm not a big fan of the "morg" sound in general, but I do prefer Morgan on a boy and Morgana on a girl.

I like Morgan for a boy but haven't thought much about it since I don't like how it sounds with my surname.I've always thought Morgana was really pretty and has this darkness to it that I like a lot. I prefer it to Morgan for a girl.
