Love it as a nickname for William but not as a full name.

Makes a change from Will, I suppose. I like it very much for family reasons (a wonderful older cousin) but I think I'd be more likely to use Will. It would probably depend on the personality of the child.

I think it's sweet and cute! It's got old-fashioned charm. It's happy!

Bill is okay as a nickname, but I wouldn’t want it as a full name since bills and receiving a bill generally carries very negative connotations. I prefer Will as a nickname for William.

This is only a recent epiphany of mine but I find it charming.

It’s one of those almost comically dated nickname names, like Bob or Steve. Nothing really wrong with them, just seem out of place on a child today.
