I came across Heidrun recently, and I really like it.What would you think if you saw it IRL? What impression do you get from it?

I love it:This below old formation reads similarly, though not exactly, like a Heather who can use Heidi as a nick name (I love Heidi).
This is not a stretch. I love the fusion of "elder tradition / with modern (in)formality"; all this to me is magical.
from BtN'sMeaning & History
Derived from Old Norse heiðr meaning "bright, clear" and rún meaning "secret".

Heidrún is nice. I luv Germanic mythology.

To the extent that I know German mythology, I love it as well. Though I'm an Irish German American, I seem to savor (not favor) my Germanic roots. I want to further explore these stories.

love the sound, but the mythology namesake is the FUNNIEST thing to me. and i love goats.

Just makes me think of the Heidrun Collider. Not something I would use.

I like the name itself, though there are much prettier -run names for girls. But the Norse mythology connection, with which I'm very familiar, makes it unusable for me.
