Acton Martin fell head over heels for Marlowe Rabbit, at first he was hesitant to pursue her because his best friend at the time was in love with her. His best friend was Graham Berry, Acton & Graham had a falling out over Marlowe, Acton vowed to show Marlowe his true feelings. Graham got to Marlowe first & asked her out 3 months before prom. Marlowe never told Acton because she knew he would be upset she was with his ex-best friend. She decided it was a better idea to wait. Acton was never supposed to see Graham & Marlowe kissing. Marlowe saw Acton's face fall and felt a pang of guilt. He slowly backed up and then ran away. The next day Acton was back to his happy self & he shut Marlowe down when she tried to talk about what happened the previous day. After highschool and barely into college Marlowe fell pregnant with Reinette at 19 years old. Graham was terrified but promised after Reinette was born they would marry and live as a 'true' family. Though the family fell through hard times and the wedding never was, Marlowe's mother died and she was devastated she decided she would put the wedding off until her mourning was over. Marlowe soon forgot about the wedding and Graham was happy she didn't mention it, he was seeing multiple women on the side and he knew a marriage would put a stop to that. Graham in total at 22 had four kids already, only one belonging to Marlowe. Years later when Reinette was five she was begging for a little sister. Marlowe had graduated college and had a good job. She was afraid to get pregnant again & take leave. But Reinette's begging and afraid Graham wasn't being faithful she thought another child would tie him down. Marlowe got pregnant again and after a painful nine months Onni was born. Reinette wanted to have a little sister. When Onni was barely a year old Marlowe found out about Graham's other girlfriends, Graham said he was sorry and he would stop. But with one of his other girlfriends expecting her third child from Graham he wouldn't stop. Marlowe stormed out with Reinette & Onni. Graham had eight children by this time and only saw two of them on a daily basis. After Marlowe left him he ended up marrying one of his other girlfriend's after she threatened to leave him. Graham ended up with ten children once Acton & Marlowe got married. After Marlowe left Graham she was depressed and having second thoughts but once she saw Acton at the coffee shop with a young Harlem holding his hand she fell in love with him. Acton immediately thought Marlowe had married Graham but saw no ring and hoped for the best. Acton had been divorced from his ex wife Mallory Henderson for almost all of Harlem's life. Harlem wasn't meant to be born Mallory said she wanted no children and Acton was fine with it. After Mallory found out she was pregnant she freaked out and wanted an abortion. At first Acton was fine with it and then realized how much he actually wanted a child. Mallory said he could have the child if he divorced her. Acton was shocked and thought on it. Mallory thought he'd stay with her but he ended up divorcing Mallory for a child, Harlem was born 6 months later and Acton & Mallory signed the papers on his 2 month birthday. Acton got full custody of Harlem and was sad at first but later realized how happy he was to have a child, specifically one that was a mini him. When Acton saw Marlowe he fell in love for a second time with her. After they caught up they both confessed their feelings a couple months later over coffee. After being engaged for over a year they finally tied the knot. Marlowe found out she was 3 weeks pregnant with Lavender when they got married. Acton & Marlowe were very excited. When Lavender was born all of the other children were excited and couldn't wait to meet her. Lavender almost died like her twin in the womb but she fought through. Acton & Marlowe couldn't wait to have a bigger family & finally live out their happy ending.
