[Opinions] Franc
I know a little boy named Franc, short for Franciszek. Sister is Zuzanna. WDYT?

Franciszek and Zuzanna are great.
Franc on its own, not so much. Makes me think he should have sisters called Lira and Peseta.

I still prefer Frank - and Francis changes its c to a k quite comfortably, so why should Franciszek be any different? That said, I prefer Francis in an untweaked form; or Franklin if one really yearns for a little Frank.

Just looks like currency to me

I'm reminded of the wedding planner from the film Father of the Bride (1991), even though he spelled his name as Franck. I prefer that spelling, as Franc seems a bit empty - not to mention that it's the name of several currency units: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franc (in English). I guess that doesn't matter for an American child, but in Europe, people would definitely be reminded of those currency units.
