[Opinions] Frederica
I find it quirky, but spunky. Kinda like it. WDYT?“For once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward; for there you have been and there you will long to return.” - Leonardo da Vinci

Adore Frederica. It's a family name for me. My great aunt Frederica ("freh-DREE-kuh") went by Freda ("FREE-duh"). My aunt was named after her. And I used it for my cat. (Great Aunt Freda was the only other cat lover in my family . . . .)I love the sound of Frederica, either "freh-DREE-kuh" or the more common "freh-deh-REE-kuh." It's energetic and musical. Nickname Fritzi is also adorable. I find it easier to combine as a middle name (Ursula Frederica) but could also see:Frederica Louisa
Frederica Gabrielle
Frederica Morven
Frederica Glynis
Frederica Léonie
Frederica Matilda
Frederica Lilith:0)

I enjoy it as well.I love the formality & sonorous strength of Germanic names. While I immediately see numerous independent short name Erica Derica, (Red, Fred) then Freda (long e - as in Freeda); Flicka - a nick-name (Swedish for Little Girl) given by her mother for now retired opera singer Frederica von Stade.

I adore it! It's been on my Top 10 list in the past. I agree that it's spunky and quirky, and I love that its regal nature isn't undermined by such spunk and quirkiness.
