What is your initially thought regarding this name? Does its popularity bother you, steer you away from it a bit?
And what about similiar names such as Luke or Luca?

My favorites in order are:

Lucas
Luke
Luca (Personally never been able to really warm up to it besides liking it for dogs)

I really like Lucas and considered it for a while when I was pregnant, but also realized that I liked it more in theory than in real life use for my own son. Or maybe I'm just a tiny bit tired of it since Lucas has been a super popular name here for ages. I prefer Lucas over both Luke and Luca, probably because I'm more used to Lucas.

I don't like any of them, but Lucas-rhymes-with-mucus and Luke-rhymes-with-puke tie for the bottom spot.

I think it's the K sound made by the -c- that's the problem. I love Lucy for a girl and don't at all mind Lucian for a boy.

Hi!

I don't really like Lucas but I am a big fan of Luke. (Maybe because I'm a Star Wars here but still...)

Never liked Luca.
