[Opinions] Minnie
Hi, i am wondering what you guys think of the name Minnie? I am thinking of using it for a character in honor of my trip to Disney i will be going on in a few days. I have been thinking of using it as a nickname for something more substantial however nothing is sticking. The ones i like so far are Minevra & Minerva however they dont have the best flow with the set middle name (Alyssa). Any other suggestions? Opinions on the name?

I like Minnie. I like the meaning. I prefer Minna slightly more.

I like the idea of her having her Mum's name and being nicknamed Minnie (like a mini version)Eg Mother: Elizabeth Lynn
Dd: Elizabeth Alyssa 'Minnie'Failing that:Maria 'Minnie'
Jasmine 'Minnie'
Minnea 'Minnie'

I've been liking Minnie more lately, but I still wouldn't say I like it a lot. It could be a name for:Minna
Mina
Wilhelmina
Ermingarde
Hermine
Minette
MinuetI don't really know how much I like any of these with Alyssa, I think the best I can come up with is Minuet Alyssa. Breaking your rules a little, I like Minerva Elise.

I like Minnie, both on it's own and as a nickname, mainly for Minerva. Suggestions:
Mina
Melinda (if Mindy works, so should Minnie...)
Melina
Minoo / Minou (both are used here)
Michelina
Michelle
Mignon
Milana
Milena
Millicent
Minali
Miranda
Mirjana
Miruna

Minnie is alright for a cat or a dog or something, but I'm not a big fan of it on humans. I prefer Min, Mina, Minna, etc. Some other names with "min" that might go better with Alyssa:
(some of them are "meen" instead of "minn", but they could still be called Minnie)Minuet
Amina
Jamina
Jasmine
Yasmin
Carmina
Dominica
Herminia
Gemini
Jessamine
