[Opinions] Linus
I heard the mother are calling to her son at the library yesterday. Thoughts on it?The Peanuts' connection is a little too strong for me, but I can understand the appeal.

It reminds me of a scientist, sinus infections, and a kid with a security blanket.

I've never heard Linus used here in South Africa or, I think, in the UK. So my only connections are, yes, Peanuts and Linus Pauling.Does anyone have information about non-American Linus people?

NinorShe stated that it was popular in Sweden during the 90s. And it did seem to chart in other countries, not the US

I love Linus. I have heard every reason for disliking it from the Peanuts association to it sorta kinda not really looking like penis to it reminding someone of linoleum. Whatever, all dull reasons not to like it.

I love it. It's in my top 3, my partner hasn't outright vetoed it, so we might have a Linus some day.

Yeah, I just think of Peanuts. Also, it sounds like, a kid with a stuffy nose or somebody sneezing.

I started crushing hard on Linus a couple of months ago, and it seems to have stuck. It never really crossed my radar, but I don’t mind the Peanuts connection (in fact it really helped me imagine it on a child as well as an adult) and there’s a certain soft, nerdy, vintage feel that’s very much my style.

It was a popular name here in the 90's, so I've met and heard of plenty. It's a boring and childish name to me.

I can only think of the Peanut character too, it also reminds me of Linux as in computers.

I want to like it, but I can't help but think "sinus" every time I hear it

I absolutely love it, and I’d use it if hubby would agree.
