I LOVE
Eve. I prefer it over
Eva,
Evelyn or any other variant.
As a child, I had a best friend called
Eve, she often went by
Evie instead and I sometimes called her "E". She'd be in her early 20's now. She's the only
Eve I've never met in real life.
Eve is on my long list and has flittered in and out of my top ten. For me it's sweet, simple and beautiful. For a little while I preferred it as a nickname for
Genevieve but now I've gone back to liking it as a full name in its own right, I think it's substantial enough.
