DH: Marcos Marciano Melo "Marco" (27) [straight brown hair & brown eyes / automation & robotics engineer]

Year 1: Marco and Sasha met in New Zealand while they were both on vacation there. They quickly fell in love and decided to marry and start their lives together in New Zealand, and thus leaving Portugal and Russia behind, for now. They're trying to start a family, but no luck as of yet. They did recently had something to celebrate though when Sasha won an award for the best local teacher!
Year 2: It's been a rough year for the Melo's since they still haven't managed to get pregnant. They're currently thinking about getting some fertility treatment as they're eager to bring children into their family. Marco decided to leave his job as a politician when he was offered the job of his dreams: Automation & Robotics Engineer
Year 3: Just before they were about to see a fertility specialist, Sasha got pregnant. She had a smooth pregnancy and delivered a healthy and perfect baby boy. They decided to name him Lucas, a Portuguese name that works well in New Zealand and close to the Russian Luka. For his middle name they went with Xavier, one of Marco's long time favorites.

Year 4: Marco and Sasha didn't plan on getting pregnant anytime soon, but they decided not to use any protection since it took them two years to conceive Lucas. Sasha realized that she was pregnant once again though when Lucas was only four months old. They were shocked, but couldn't be happier to bring a little girl into their family! Sasha also left her work as a teacher to become a dramatherapist.

Year 5: One day at work Marco's phone rang. It was his mother - who rarely calls, and never during his working hours. He answered, afraid to hear that she was sick or injured. When he heard was even worse... His two years older brother, Joel, had been killed in a car accident, leaving two young children behind with their mother. Marco and Joel were very close while growing up, and Marco felt like had lost a part of himself. They travelled to Portugal to attend Joel's funeral and stayed another two weeks to be with family and friends.
Year 6: Marco and Sasha always wanted a big family, so this year they decided to try for another baby. Unsuccessfully so. However Sasha realized that working as a dramatherapist wasn't for her, and after searching for a few months she got a new job as a theatre director which suits her perfectly. Soon thereafter Marco got some more bad news - his mother had also died. It was expected as she had cancer, but still heartbreaking. They once again travelled to Portugal, this time to attend Iria's funeral.

Year 7: Baby number three on her way, and Peyton couldn't be happier to have a baby sister! Baby Sofia looks just like her dad, except from the blonde hair which comes from Sasha's family. They decided to use Skye as a middle name (Lucas's idea) since that's where her uncle and grandmother lives.

Year 8: Once again, Sasha decided to switch jobs. She missed her job as a teacher, and decided that she wanted back into it, but with a twist. This time she's a chemistry teacher. She thought it was the stress of starting a new job, but a few weeks later she took a pregnancy test and was shocked to find out that they were expecting again. Gavriil has been one of Sasha's favorite boys names since she was a young girl, but since they're living in New Zealand they thought it might be a bit too much. Instead, they decided to name their new son Gabriel.

Year 9: Life with four small children is hectic, so after Gabriel's birth they decided to use protection and not have another child for a while - if ever. During the winter Lucas also got sick with pneumonia which was very hard and worrying since he's only five. It took him a while, but he's now fine.
Year 10: Marco is well known for being busy, and loving everything that goes fast. Unfortunately, that included his car. This year he got no less than three speeding tickets. After the third one Sasha threatened to divorce him if he didn't stop. Other than that, it was a calm and easy going year for the Melo's.
Year 11: Marco and Sasha decided that they wanted another child. Marco was fine with waiting another two years or so, but Sasha felt her biological clock ticking faster and faster and wanted another baby NOW. Thankfully this time around everything went quickly. For a while they thought it was twins since she had so much morning sickness and got big very fast. But the ultrasound just showed one baby, and when she was born they soon realized why Sasha was so big....their new baby girl was gigantic! They had a though time agreeing on a name this time around. Sasha wanted something Russian and feminine, while Marco wanted something popular in New Zealand. In the end, neither got their wish as they named her Romana. They used her grandmother's name, Iria, as her middle name.

Year 14: Marco got a big promotion, and decided to take some time off work to visit family in Portugal. After little more than a year as a divorced couple, Sasha and Marco found their way back to each other. The grass wasn't greener on the other side. And trust me - Sasha had looked and pretty much dated the entire city. But nobody was as good as Marco. They decided to remarry on New Year's Eve - as it was the perfect start to a new year to them.

Year 14: Well...it sure wasn't planned. But Sasha got pregnant again on their wedding night. And was a night....she got pregnant with quadruplets! Three boys and one girl, two of the boys identical. It was nothing like her first smooth pregnancy. Everything was hard and rough this time around - but what's to expect when you're expecting four?! After Hudson, Blake, Talia and Vincent had been born with a C-section Sasha had her baby factory closed with some help from the doctors. No more babies for the Melo's!

Theyadopt a lizard...named Lizzie. During this year Sasha's grandpa, Michail, pass away. They travel to Russia to attend the funeral, and also decided to take some well needed vacation in Hungary for a week.
