[Opinions] Thelma
I just watched Thelma, a beguiling Norwegian film from 2017 that explores queerness, telekinesis, and religious dogmatism (among other things), and now I can't stop thinking about the name Thelma (borne in the film by a gamine, preternaturally gifted young actress). Does anyone out there like the name, or am I alone in appreciating it? "Th" and "elm(a)" are two of my favorite sounds/elements in a name, so I'm not surprised that I admire Thelma. Here are some combos for your consideration:Thelma Adeline
Thelma Angeline
Thelma Beatrice / Beatrix
Thelma Cecilia
Thelma Chrysanthe
Thelma Clotilde
Thelma Cordelia
Thelma Dagny
Thelma Daphne

Thelma Beatrice
Thelma Diana
Thelma Hazel
Thelma Ingrid
Thelma Ione
Thelma Irene

It sounds stuffy and awkward.

While I'm afraid Thelma is perpetually stuck in the "old lady name" sphere for me, but it does have some unconventional charm, like the more common Thea. I like:Thelma Beatrice
Thelma Felicity
Thelma Irene
Thelma Josephine
Thelma Leonie
Thelma Lucy
Thelma Natalie
Thelma Ottilie
Thelma Rosalind
Thelma Sigrid
Thelma Solange
Thelma Solveig
Thelma Winifred
