I used to like the Gilmore Girls spelling, but now I prefer Lorelei. That said, it really is an elegant yet spunky and fairly unique name.

Hi !!!!

My favourite spelling is Loreley, the original spelling, also due to a song by Blackmore's Night.

I've always thought that Lorelai Gilmore were written Lorelei! What a fun! Just with this post I realized it was misspelled!

I like Lorelei. Strangely very annoyed that the -ai spelling is more popular due to Gilmore Girls.

It's fine. Dated of course, but I like the sound of it. It also reminds me if Gilmore girls. I prefer it spelled Lorelei though.
