(How do you say Kyle, Liam, Giles, Lyle, Louis, Miles, Niles, Diane, and Louise with 1 syllable? I can say Charles with 1 if I use a British accent but I'm not sure about the others.)

I'm not the original poster, but I pronounce:
Kyle as KIEL
Liam as LEE-əm, but I suppose it could come out as LEEM if said quickly
Giles as JIELZ
Lyle as LIEL
Louis as LOO-is, but the French pronunciation is LWEE
Miles as MIELZ
Niles as NIELZ
Diane as DIE-an, but the French pronunciation is DYAN
Louise as LOO-eez, but the French pronunciation is LWEEZ
