I appreciate these posts. A lot of the user-submitted content on this site tends to be very West-focused, mainly because most BtN members seem to be Western themselves. So despite being a worldwide database, a lot of names don't get as much time to shine as, say, Arthur & Alice. (Those were the top BtN names from 2018, right?)
Unfortunately, this also means I have a hard time figuring out how to approach some of these names. (I never got into anime, besides
Sailor Moon back in second grade, so I've had little exposure.) For instance, a lot of Japanese feminine names have the -ko suffix, meaning "child." Japanese people might not think anything of it, but I find it a little... demeaning? Infantilizing? It would be like me naming my daughter Flowerchild, sort of. Idk, that's just the impression those names give me.
All that aside, of the names you've posted, I like:
Hina
Karin
Shizuka (I really like this one's meaning)
&
Keitaro
Kaito
I freely admit that the ones I like, I like in part due to their similarity to Western names I like.
