All the ones I've known were female, so it's a girl's name to me. I like it.

It's weird. The beginning is very feminine to me, like Rosa or Rosemary. But the 'rio' ending seems inherently masculine.

I have only heard this on women considering that girls are children. I like it.

In my language Rosario would be masculine and Rosaria feminine though neither are very common for young people.

For me typically male with the -o ending, such as Mario, Marco, Ivo, Vito etc.

I prefer it on girls, though I like it on boys too. I think it sounds beautiful and intriguing.

I prefer it for a girl, but would love to encounter it on a girl or a boy. Such a great name.

I like it, it has a certain appeal to me just by the way it sounds, I would use for a girl unless your Italian then it’s a boys
Name.

I prefer it for a girl. I don't really like the religious meaning, but the sound is nice and history behind it is substantial.

It sounds better for boys and even more as a surname which I strongly associate the name with.
