It’s my name.
I go back and forth on how much I like having it. I like that it’s old and well used but not too common on women my age and I like that it’s not very feminine and sort of ugly sounding. In theory! Sometimes I wish I had a more modern or feminine sounding name. I think it’s more stylish today though than when I was born (1997) and objectively it’s not a bad name. I go by Maggie, which I also vascilate on. Sometimes I think it’s cute and friendly, other times too childish and it does sound like maggot. I’m fond of Greta.
