[Opinions] Ingrid and Ivy
Which do you like more? Do they go together? And thoughts on each?

They're not favs of mine, but they're nice to see.
Ingrid - I love the bell-like Ing sound, and the *grid part's so solid and organized.
Ivy - I like how it's something that grows; it's expansive and tenacious.
I'd rather be Ivy just because I find it more relatable.
"Do they go together?" Do you mean as sisters, Ivy and Ingrid, or in a combo, Ivy Ingrid / Ingrid Ivy? Either way, they sound fine together, without being too matchy.
These were the first couple combos I thought of for each
Ivy Fidelia
Ingrid Genevieve
Ingrid Juniper
Ivy Bridget

Both are gorgeous, but I probably wouldn’t use them together. I don’t love it when siblings have the same initials, and they sort of feel like different styles. Ingrid feels stately and Ivy feels more sweet.
I love Ingrid - it is beautiful, classy and timeless.
Ivy is pretty - but it reminds me of poison ivy all the time.

I prefer Ingrid but I like Ivy as a mn.
I dislike Ivy, both because it starts with 'I' as if the bearer was constantly talking about herself and because it's the most annoying garden plant I've ever encountered.
Ingrid is better. It sounds pinched and thin, and is my least favourite -rid name - I far prefer Astrid and, especially, Sigrid.
I don't think they go together, particularly.

I like Ingrid. Ivy as a mn is ok. I don't like siblings with the same initials, if it was for siblings

I LOVE Ingrid. Like it might make my top 10/15 of all time. It's stately, elegant, beautiful, and unlike any other name (except for Astrid or Inga, I suppose).
Ivy, I've never found that cute. The plant is a strangler. Poison Ivy seems like a misogynistic character to me. And it's getting pretty trendy these days.
