[Opinions] Edwina
WDYT of Edwina?
**Starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam/Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine, and a side order of ham**

I think it sounds dowdy and unpleasant.
Love it. Definitely on our list for a girl.
Don't like it
I’m not sure it’s very tease-proof with that big “ween” right in the middle.
It really suits my nephew's pug! Who was, I think, named after some critter in The Lion King, which I've never watched so I could be wrong.
Actually, I quite like it for humans, too.

There isn't, but there is a character in Chicken Run called Edwina. This is the only pop culture (animated or otherwise) Edwina I can think of.
She was the chicken who was taken to the cop at the beginning.
My personal thoughts on the name is that it has a comedic sound to it, like Ethel and Betty. The comedic sound can stem from the fat that it's a pretty dated name, but also maybe the weird "ween" sound. Words that "sound comedic" are often always the ones that makes your mouth form a smile when saying it, so the comedy is rather inherent with the name.

I agree. I would never use it in real life, but I kind of like it. It definitely has personality.
I also agree with that. I like names with personality, even if I'd never consider them for my children's names, they're still great options for fiction.
