what do you think of this name for a girl. Do you prefer Michelin or Micheline? With the nickname Mish

I prefer Micheline, but even that reminds me of Michelin tires and the Michelin man (she'd probably be teased). Both sound nice though.

As Chrisell said, Michelin is a brand of tires where I live, too. I prefer Micheline anyway (pronounced mish-LEEN). The nickname Mish is awfully sweet. :)

I wouldn't want to name my daughter after tires. It's not a bad sounding name, but I can't get rid of the name association with tires.

Michelin is a car tyre brand here . . .

'cept we spell it tire ;) either way, I associate it much too much with the rubbery smell of tires.

I think of tyres regardless of the spelling.

Michelin is the name of a tyre manufacturer, So I definitely prefer Micheline, although this name isn't really my style.
