Help[Opinions] Germanic names I invented
I was experimenting a bit with the Germanic elements, and I made my own names from them. It's a lot of fun! I would like some opinions on the names I created. Here they are:
Hariger: means "spear warrior"
Osard: means "bravery of God"
Conibert: means "brave and bright"
Waldrand: means "shield ruler"
Alrod: means "noble and famous"
Harfred: means "peaceful warrior"
Hurick: means "spiritual power"
Ardolph: means "brave wolf"

None of these names are really my taste, but Osard, Alrod, and Harfred sound pretty cool. Maybe I should try making some Germanic names myself:

Ansman (m) - “God’s man”
Sigric (m) - “victorious ruler”
Wulfric (m) - “wolf ruler”
Cynefrid (f) - “royal peace”
Mildsige (f) - “gentle victory”
Cendis (f) - “bold/keen goddess”
Einhild (f) - “one battle”
Isburg (f) - “icy/iron fortress”

Cool! I say the same thing too about Adolf! I like Adolph too, as well as Adolf. "noble wolf" is a great meaning. I've wondered if it would be revived some day. You never know. There are lots of good Adolfs through history, saints, Harpo Marx's real name was Adolph, inventors, explorers etc..

Waldrand is actually a word in German, it means the ‘edge of a forest’ :D
