[Opinions] Re: Swedish audio pronunciation (including names like Björn, Knut, Astrid, Sigrid..)
Hey, thanks for doing this. This is really neat. Definitely a few surprises in here for me. I thought
Dagny was prounced DAGG-nee and
Hillevi had 3 syllables. And the way you pronounce "gn" in
Agnes and
Signe is really hard for me to mimic or even describe. Same with the Å sound in
Åke. Sounds cool though!
Here are a few other Swedish names I like, that I'd be interested in hearing you say:
Alva,
Ingrid,
Ester,
Juni,
Ronja,
Moa,
Svea, Lo, My,
StinaNils,
Arvid,
Olle,
Malte,
Sixten,
Melker,
Loke,
Tage,
Sigge,
Casper
I'm also curious how English loan names like
Jack,
John,
Kevin,
Sally,
Belle, and
Hailey are pronounced in Swedish.
