I love Blake, it's my son's name.

I love Blair (it feels like a no-nonsense person to me) and I love the name Briar (note that it often is confused for Brian, which is amusing)

Blake: it's a bit too surname-y for me, but it sounds intelligent and lively.
Blair: bleh.
Briar: sounds too delicate and weak, like the name of a Disney princess.

I wouldn't use any of them, but Blake is my favourite. I'd consider using Brontë instead.

Love Blake on a boy only. Love Blair on a girl. Don't like Briar for either (though I'd assume girl if I heard it). I'd use both Blake and Blair.

I love all of these names, my favorite is Briar. I prefer Blake on a boy only though. Blair grew on me, and I like on both genders. I like Briar on a girl only.

Out of all of these, Blair is my favorite, though these names all sound gendered to me. Blake sounds masculine while Blair and Briar sound feminine.

I would choose Blair for a girl. I've always liked it and know a couple really lovely ones.

Briar, I only think of Briar Rose, and if you're naming your kid after Sleeping Beauty, why not just use Aurora?

Blake and Blair don't sound unisex to me, and I don't like either (but Blake is a little better than Blair. Blair is like bland, blare, blain, etc).
I'd be willing to use Briar. I think it is unisex but I prefer it for a boy.

Blake is not unisex to me. Blair is barely unisex. So my pick if I had to use one is Briar, it’s naturey so up for grabs by either.

Blake is on my long list for a boy and flits in and out of my Top 10 too.

But if you were to ask me which I'd pick for a girl, it would still be Blake as I really don't care for either Blair (reminds me of Tony Blair, I'm British) or Briar.

I don't love the Bl- sound (I think "bleh"), though Blair is not too bad. I really love Claire, so that adds a positive note to Blair. Blake has always sounded puny to me for some reason. I very much dislike Briar because of a bad association of someone I knew (he spelled his name Breier). So my choice of these 3 is Blair, though it's not a name I'd use (there are too many other names I like more).

I skimmed the list of unisex B names in BtN and there really isn't any that I would use IRL. I like Blythe (not sure why since it too is a Bl- name), but only for a girl.

I would also include Blue, Bradley, Brady, and Bowie.

Blake is okay. Especially for a middle name. I know a woman named Blake as well as a couple guys.
Blair: The only two people named Blair that I know of personally are both male, one's about five or six and the other's in his fifties. But it still seems more feminine to me than masculine. I don't like it, it sounds snotty. Blake is okay, but not on a girl.
Briar: This one's another name that doesn't seem ambiguous to me because it has very little history as a name, period. It strikes me as entirely femine, probably because of the Briar Rose thing. I think it's an ugly name anyhow, just sounds really unattractive.

I wouldn't use any of these on a girl. If I had to pick a b unisex name for a girl I'd pick Bobbie/Bobbi. It's fairly cute, actually.

I only like Blair, because of personal associations. I think Blake is really boring, and Briar is corny in a way that doesn't feel very good.

I don't care for Blake or Blair. I would absolutely use Briar though, I adore it as a middle name in particular.
