LilyI've met a Lilly, I've met a Lily, neither got along well with me, I'm choosing Lily because Lilly looks clunky.

Lily, it's my favorite name in the world and spelled like the flower.Lilly looks trendy and heavy to me.If I had to choose another spelling I would first go for Lillie which at least looks balanced and not so childish.

LilyLily is a nice name that benefits colossally from coinciding with the name of an elegant flower. Lilly seems childishly frilly and silly to me, as a respelling of Lily. Besides, it is a surname, most recognizable as the name of a sometimes notorious drug company.

I like Lily best.

LilyWhen a name is based on a word, it should be spelled like that word. Anything less than that looks silly or uneducated. The only time I could get behind Lilly would be if it were short for something longer like Lillian, and even then I think Lily is better. My daughter’s middle name is Lily, btw, after my ex-husband’s favourite flower.

Lily. Lilly drives me nuts. I can stomach Lillie as a nickname for Lillian, but I still prefer plain old Lily.

Frilly Lilly is unnecessary - the extra L does nothing but would cause trouble on a daily basis. Lily is neater and tidier.

LilyIt's simpler, and it's how everyone is going to assume it's spelt anyway.

Lilly looks like someone misspelled the flower. Lily is simple and classic. Lili or Lillie is fine as a nn for Lillian or Liliana, etc.

Lilly, funnily enough!!I know this goes against popular opinion (actually, ALL opinion), but I prefer the name Lilly! I think Lily looks TOO MUCH like the flower (though actually I still like Lily, I just prefer Lilly).*
