This is based on the banding codes used in the US. The idea is to make the names look like the same structure as a possible bird name that would have that code, regardless of how many middle names you want (I'll write in the possibilities for each family member).

Examples of how banding codes look with two- and three-word bird names:
WEGR (Western Grebe)
RNGR (Red-necked Grebe)
So LIGU (Little Gull) could make any of these names: Lily Guinevere, Liam Gunther, Lucas Ian Gulliver, Laura Imogene Gillian Ursula
But it couldn't make the name Lincoln Gordon Ulysses, because if that was a three-word bird name the code would be "LGUL", not "LIGU". (Although some of the codes aren't what you'd expect because another bird had that code, and western screech owl is WESO, so really if you have two middle names you can do whatever you want as long as it could fit the code in some way.)
