I prefer Estrella by a mile but... Estella is nice. It sounds younger than Stella. Also brighter and more sparkly. Stella is yellow gold, Estella is white gold.
Estella / Stella, Esperanza / Speranza, Esmeralda / Smeralda... I like them all tbh. I think ones that that start with an E are better as first names, whereas the ones without the E are better as middle names.
