When my husbands oldest child was in nursery around 12 years ago there was a child in her class called Wolf.
I’m not a huge fan of Wolf and would assume it was short for Wolfgang. When I hear Wolfgang my first thought is Mozart. I actually don’t mind Wolfgang but it would not be unusable where I live.
