[Opinions] Re: Brinley
I would never use it, but I was quite surprised to see how many people hate it ;)To me it sounds like Bryn + Lee and I do like Bryn a lot and don't have problems with the -ley/leigh/lidh ending as I do like Eilidh a lot. So I thought it would do a lot better here than Paisley or Kaylee. To me it sounds very nature-y and calm. But yes, it is very trendy and I can understand it's not popular here, just expected this to fare a bit better ;) I wonder if I should have asked about Brynlee instead, maybe that brings up a different image?

I wouldn't mind Brynlee though! It's just Brinley that I think looks terrible.

I think people here by and large hate Br- names. I'm not sure why. I do too. I can see the appeal of Brynn if I give it some thought. It's kind of romantic, kind of poetic.

I don't think it's the "Br" that repels peoplePlenty of people like Brigid (and variants), Branwen, Bronwen, and Bryony. (I may be one of the few who love Brynhild and Brunhilde.) I think what people object to is the "Br...l(e)y" sequence.
