Dylan: boring but harmlessKsenia: what....is...this?EDIT: it’s a Polish name. That makes it better but it doesn’t appeal to me.

worlds apart. Dylan belongs with Emily and Sophia while Ksenia goes with Karli and Serafina

Wow... Karli? And Serafina? All 3 of those names are worlds apart to me

Dylan OK. It's a shiny 90s playskool name mostly. It bothers me less than most of them do, way less, and if I had a partner who really loved it I'd be able to consider it.Ksenia is pretty - I love Xenia though.edit: I just looked up Dylan's meaning and it now appeals more.

Dylan: Boring but harmless.
(ETA: I'm partly being nice to Dylan just to keep attention off of Dillon. I'm irrationally annoyed by Dillon as a first name.)Ksenia: Interesting. Pretty, earthy, and spiky like thistles.
(ETA: People are mentioning Xenia which is also good, but Xenia is more spacey while Ksenia is earthy.)

Agree about Dillon - somehow, so much uglier! It takes away all the Welshness or something?

I'm with Dylan because of Bob, but strictly mn only.As for Dillon, allow me to curl your toes even more: I taught a boy named Delon and pronounced duhLON. Nice kid; his luckier brother was Clive, and it takes a lot to make me appreciate Clive!

Delon seems like a totally different name.I love Dylan's interview on the Scorsese documentary - he doesn't remember why he chose Dylan, but he doesn't think any of the stories other people tell are true. LOLHe probably just thought it was a cool-sounding name, too, I guess?

Dylan - like it, it's a cool name.
Ksenia - I prefer Xenia, it is less complicated.

I don't like Dylan, never have, it just doesn't look or sound attractive to me.Ksenia on the other hand I love, it's so pretty. It's definitely got an eastern vibe to it so for me using would probably involve being always ready to shoot down a gross uncle, unfortunately. But if my folks weren't massive bigots I might pitch this name more often because it's lovely.

I’ve never liked Dylan. It’s annoyingly trendy and I know an annoying kid with it.I’m not too crazy about Ksenia either. I honestly prefer the original Xenia.
