[Opinions] Rockne
Spotted in the credits of a Netflix show.
WDYT? I'm guessing it's feminine, in the same vein as Daphne, Evadne, etc ...

I don't hate it, but I also don't like it...It makes me think of Arachne, which I adore.

It looks a little like a misspelled Arachne.

It screams masculine to me.

no, it's masculine ...I'm betting money on that, and that it's an homage to the old-time Notre Dame football coach Knute Rockne, who was played in a movie by Ronald Reagan.

It does smack of toxic hypermasculinity. “No way is MY boy gonna be a sissy! I’m giving him the most manly sporty sport sport name I can think of. The only activities we’ll ever do together must either include throwing a ball or hooking a fish. I’ll disown him if he even looks at a doll or hints that he has feelings.”

But to be fair this type of dad would only parent his girl if she wanted to fish or play ball, too. So who knows.

Interesting, that makes sense. Still, it could be a girl named after that football coach :)
