[Opinions] Lindsay, Ashley, Courtney or Hayley (more)

Hayley or Ashley
Hayley. I’ve never actually minded the name at all, not that I’d use it.
Since we can change spellings, Haley.
The others are too old-fashioned.

I'd pick Ashley, because it's always been a favorite. The only one I don't like is Lindsey, it's weaselly.
Ashley
I don’t mind it that much, and I kind of like the nickname Ash. It’s better than the other ones, in my opinion.

nt.
Lindsay - I like how it looks more than the sound but I still find it pretty.
Courtney would be a second choice, it reminds me of beautiful courtyards.
Ashley and Hayley are just boring for me.
I checked Courtney's popularity and was kinda surprised that it peaked in 1989. It feels a generation older than the others to me, probably because I only associate it with Courtney Love and Courteney Cox.

Haley or Kourtney
Well, the only one I really, harshly dislike is Lindsay.
I don’t mind Ashley, as it’s my own name. I mean, I don’t know very many people that truly hate their name?
I love Haley and Kourtney, both. I would actually have used either on my daughter, happily.
I know Kourtney is not the normal and usually I hate trendy or “misspelled” names, but I cannot like it with a C, for some reason.

Ashley for a boy.
Isn't your daughter Hayley?
Ashley - My second grade teachers name was Ashley Courtney. I also knew an Ashley who didn’t come out so good in life. The name itself is a 6/10 for me.
Lindsay - I can only think of Lindsay Lohan whenever I hear this name, but I’d give it a 5.5/10.
Courtney - I prefer it as a surname, I can imagine somebody with the name Courtney, but it’s sounds strange as a first name a little bit in my opinion. 4/10.
Hayley - Meh, it’s not the worse I ever heard. But too trendy for my liking. 5/10.

Lindsay
Lindsay is the only one I like of the bunch, but I actually quite like her a lot. Shame about Lohan. :-(

I legit LOVE Courtney and Hayley - spelled just like that.
I once knew a Hayley who, to this day, is still one of the absolutely most beautiful women I have ever seen.
That said, I love Courtney as well and I’ll probably go with it in this case. There’s just something about it that I’ve always found very appealing.
I prefer Ashley for a male and I never understood Lindsay.

I love Hayley, but would spell it Hailey!

Ashley
It used to be my favourite name when I found out an Australian classmate had a sister named Ashley when I was about six or seven. I had never heard of it before and it seemed wonderfully exotic, with a soft, but distinct sound - I really enjoyed saying the "shl" part.
