Much too cheery. It sounds like the name of an over-optimistic hobbit. I wouldn't use it.

I like it. It's completely different than Mary. Merry sounds so happy.

I prefer Mary.

Merry sounds nothing like Mary where I'm from. It's too juvenile as a full name, but I might use it as a nickname.

I’d prefer Mary. I don’t even like either like that, but Mary is a lot better. It looks like atrocious. I can only think of Merry Christmas.

I think I would just use Mary since it sounds the same and is more familiar.

I dont like it at all
