[Opinions] my sister's nickname
The other night I was talking with my Husband about names and he said he really liked my sister Michelle's nickname Misha. I just talked with my sister and asked her what she thought and she said she didn't mind if we used it. Hubby likes it for either sex, says it depeneds on what it is paired with. Also my Dentist has a son named Misha.
What do you think?

I like it better on a girl but it would be okay on a boy too.
I like it for a boy only, as it's used in Russia.

I like it. Even though it is supposed to be a male Russian name...So is mine! =) That's why I like it so much. I love names that are so unusual for this area. But I would only like Misha on a girl. Hopefully that actress won't get so popular that I can even think of using this one.
I see Misha as a boys name, and I like it. I knew a little boy named Micha (pron exactly the same), I love it instantly.

My sister had a friend a long time ago named MICHELINA and her nickname was Mischa. I loved it. (Mind you I was a little girl.) She was so tall and so pretty. She was in college and I was so envious. She was my sisters “COOL FRIEND.” Anyways… I love it. With how popular the TV show “The O.C.”/Mischa Barton is, the only thing to worry about is the possibility of it popularity going out of control by the teeny bopper Mommies...lol
